SARASOTA, Fla. – Two creative, Sarasota-based entrepreneurs announced the release of their iOS application, Meetr™ for iPhone™. Programmer Patrick Denney and Ringling College of Art and Design graduate and designer Miguel E. Elasmar created a unique application that helps companies and employees calculate the cost of time spent by groups or individuals in meetings, conference calls or other events – all in real time.
Well, after the SEC's much anticipated Annual Government-Business Forum on Small Business Capital Formation yesterday, I'd hoped to post something of value regarding the state of the SEC's effort to write the rules necessary for Title II and Title III crowdfunding. After all, there was a fair amount of build-up that this event would be THE forum for an SEC update as to timing and substance of pending regulations and the title of the opening session was "JOBS Act Implementation." The update on implementation is: no update.
Hello to my remaining 3 or 4 readers! Blog inactivity apologies are so 2006, but I did want to pop in here and say, stay tuned! Some interesting things are coming — mostly around the Cells/Apotomo/stateful widgets and Rails front, which I am finally devoting some serious time to, since speaking about those open source efforts at the 2008 Ruby Conference in Orlando.
I am also thinking about just writing my own damn blog engine/site. Something about the shoe repair dude’s kids, or something like that. Thanks for reading!
