Exploring Ruby-based stateful component web frameworks

  1. what do you think qualifies as such right now? Hobo? or the one Avi talked about in his historic “Web Heresies” presentation?

  2. Iowa and Nitro are two that already exist in Ruby. I want to look at what Avi said in his talk and — hopefully — get him to provide some insight. I prefer to stick with Ruby and to work within Rails, though certainly Merb could be another candidate to provide the core services.
